Information for Parents and Carers

Our ethos is to promote an inspirational culture in which everyone feels valued and challenged to reach their potential.

We very much value the input of parents/carers in supporting our pupils in making decisions about their future educational and career pathways.

We want pupils to make informed choices about their future learning and career pathways.

All pupils have access to impartial careers advice from our own, qualified, Careers Adviser. This tailored guidance builds on a programme of Careers Education, which is provided from Year 7 through to Year 13.

Dr E Dando, our Careers Leader, organises the Careers Education programme at St Mary’s. Pupils can find her in the Science department, or can email her on edando@stmaryschesterfield.org.uk
