Uniform

Our Sixth Form uniform brings a sense of purpose, professionalism and community to our students. We expect Sixth Form students to dress smartly at all times and be role models to the rest of the school.

Most items of uniform can be purchased from high street stores from our uniform suppliers:

Core PE

Plain navy joggers (no logos), loose fitting plain navy or black sports shorts, plain white T shirt, plain navy sweatshirt (no logos), navy or white socks appropriate to the activity. Trainers as above, appropriate for activity. Sixth Form students can also choose to buy the PE kit from our school suppliers, as outlined above, if preferred. Any other kit appropriate or necessary to the activity (shin pads, gum shield etc).

SIXTH FORM EQUIPMENT

Stationery

Pupils must carry the stationery items listed below.  Replacements can be purchased from the school library.

  •  A black or blue ink pen
  • A pencil
  • A ruler
  • An eraser
  • A sharpener
  • Folders as described by subject teachers - typically A4 lever-arch style. 

Calculator

Pupils are required to have a scientific calculator.

Other Items

  • A set of headphones
  • A water bottle

Jewellery, Piercings and Smart Watches

  • A discreet amount of jewellery can be worn.
  • Two small earrings are allowed in each ear.
  • No facial piercings are allowed, but students in Sixth Form can wear clear spacers for any facial piercings or additional ear piercings.
  • Smart watches can be worn, but students must remove them on certain occasions, such as during examinations or subject tests.

Make-up and Nails

  • Minimal, subtle makeup is permitted.
  • Nails should be a natural colour, and nail extensions are not allowed.

Hair

  • Students may not have extreme hair colouring or hair styles.
  • Any student with hair types 3a-4c may wear their hair in an appropriate protective hairstyle.
  • Religious headwear may be worn, provided it is plain, navy blue, and in keeping with the school.

Outdoor Coats and Bags

  • Students can wear a black or navy blue outdoor coat.
  • The coat must be no shorter than the school blazer, and logos must be minimal.
  • Bags must not be bright coloured or over patterned.
