The St Mary's Reading Canon

We believe in the power of reading to stretch our minds and to push our achievements but also to help us to understand others and to relax. Academic departments at St Mary's have collaborated to produce our 'St Mary's Literary Canon': a selection of books for each Year Group which will push all of us along on our reading journey. 

Here you can find both fiction and non-fiction, books for avid readers and for those not yet in the habit, books to unwind to and books which take you to the edges of the universe. 

All books in bold are now available in our library, and we are always seeking to expand the selection we offer.

Students are rewarded with lapel badges and Inauro Points for engaging with the Literary Canon.
