SEND Administrator

 

24 hours per week (to be worked over a minimum of 4 days Monday to Friday)

(with 30-minute unpaid break each day)

39 weeks per year (including INSET days)

Annual Salary Grade 8 SCP 14-18 (£28,624 - £30,559 F.T.E)

(£15,739 - £16,803 actual annual salary)

St Mary's Catholic High School are looking to appoint a highly organised, competent, and enthusiastic SEND Administrator.   The post holder will be required to effectively provide administrative support to the SENDCO and the Learning Support Department.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Educated to GCSE standard with five GCSEs Grade 4 or above including English and Mathematics.
  • Experienced in working in a busy office environment (school based would be advantageous).
  • Able to remain calm when under pressure and employ tact and diplomacy in difficult/sensitive situations.
  • Able to prioritise their workload and meet deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate proven experience of using their initiative.
  • Confident with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Skilled in the use of IT software including Microsoft packages.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and have an understanding of confidentiality issues and GDPR.
