Teaching Assistant – Specialist Physical Impairment Provision (including personal care)

32 ½ hours per week, term time only (39 weeks including INSET days)

Grade 7 Scp 9 £25,119 FTE, £21,293 Actual Salary per annum

Required from September 2024 for one year

St Mary’s Catholic High School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team under the direction of the Learning Support Manager for the care and welfare of Special Educational Needs pupils, in particular, pupils with physical impairment and personal care needs.  There may be flexibility to negotiate the hours per week for the post.

Previous experience of specialist physical impairment provision including personal care would be desirable, however training is available for the right candidate.
