Chatsworth Rd. Festival Photographic Competition

The theme of the competition was ‘Our Town’ and there were various entry levels.

I am pleased to announce that Amy Bradley won first prize with her photograph in the under 18’s category and Anna Connelly was runner up in the same category. They are both art students studying GCSE Art in Y11 and Y10.

The mayor of Chesterfield was involved in the judging.

We would also like to advertise the Chesterfield Senior Schools Art Exhibition this weekend at St Andrew’s United Reformed Church on Newbold Road.
At 10.00 on Saturday morning the Mayor will present 6 students with their certificates of entry from each school. We have six A level Art students attending for this. The other entrants in KS3 and KS4 will get their certificates awarded by a senior member of the Chesterfield Rotary Club on Saturday at 3.00.

The show is an excellent demonstration of the creative talent that is abundant in all schools in the Chesterfield area at all key stages.
