Careers Education Programme Resources
At Key Stage 3 you will have some Careers lessons during form-time. We will look at things like your strengths and weaknesses and the importance of getting involved.
At Key Stage 4, you will also have some Careers lessons during form-time and these will cover things such as what you can do after GCSEs, skills that employers are looking for, how to complete an application form and interview skills. Outside speakers will also come and talk to you about college life and Apprenticeships.
In the Sixth Form, Careers information will be delivered during assemblies and cover such things as post-18 opportunities, personal statement writing and interview preparation will be covered. There is also an off-timetable day to start to prepare those of you who are wanting to apply to university.
Below you will find most of the resources that are used during the Careers Education Programme at St Mary’s. You may choose to discuss completed activities with a parent or guardian or if you were away for any of the sessions you may choose to complete them independently.
