QUALIFIED TEACHER OR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINEE TEACHER OF MUSIC

Required from September 2024

 

We are seeking to appoint a creative and motivated Early Career or experienced UPS Teacher of Music with excellent subject knowledge and qualifications. 

We would also welcome applications from candidates who would be interested in a Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship (including QTA and PGCE) for Music as a route to initial teacher training.  This would be through National Institute of Teaching and Education (NITE), accredited by Coventry University.   Further information about the apprenticeship route can be found with the application documents below.

  • Able to lead and develop the delivery of Music in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Able to organise and co-ordinate liturgical music.
  • Able to contribute fully to the department’s exciting and extensive co-curricular programme which includes several annual whole-school Music and Drama events that are held both in our purpose-built Drama Hall and external venues.
