HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING

ASSISTANT – SPECIALISM IN AUTISM Required ASAP

32.5 hours per week

Term Time only (39 weeks)

Salary Grade 7 Point 12 £21,589 FTE (£18,176.94 actual salary pa)

Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant specialising in Autism to join our Learning Support Department to work across the curriculum supporting pupils with special educational needs – we are committed to making a positive difference to their lives. Applicants should be creative, practical and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

The successful candidate will:

  1. Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with recent experience of working with young people with Autism in a mainstream setting.
  2. Have experience of supporting students with a wide range of special needs.
  3. Have knowledge of issues related to ASD and other special needs in a secondary phase setting.
  4. Have knowledge of children’s curriculum needs.
  5. Have sound knowledge of the theoretical framework of appropriate interventions for students with ASD in mainstream schools.

FINANCE ASSISTANT

 

25.5 hours x 43 weeks (preferably over 5 days, however, open to negotiation)

Annual Salary Grade 6 SCP 6-8, £19,171 – £19,945 (pro-rata), (£12,265 – £12,761 actual salary)

 

St Mary’s Catholic High School are looking for a highly motivated, competent and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking Business & Finance Team as soon as possible.

Applicants must have excellent organisational skills, a good level of numeracy and literacy skills, 5 GCSEs Grade C or above including English and Maths, and a minimum of AAT Foundation Level (or demonstrate an appropriate level of experience).  You will be a team player, confident with effective communication and IT skills, have a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines when working under pressure.  Previous experience of finance in a school/academy setting is essential.

TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS
