DATA/COVER & EXAMS ASSISTANT

20 hours per week x 39 weeks (term time only to include INSET Days)

Monday – Friday (hours by negotiation)

Annual Salary FTE Grade 5 SCP 4-5, £18,426 – £18,795 (pro-rata), £8,385.86 – £8,553.79 (actual salary)

 

St Mary’s Catholic High School are looking to appoint a highly organised, competent, and enthusiastic Data/Cover and Exams Assistant to support the Exams and Cover Officer in this outstanding school.

The successful candidate will be:

  1. Educated to GCSE level with 5 GCSEs Grade 4 or above including English and Mathematics.
  2. Experienced in working in a busy office environment (school based would be advantageous).
  3. Able to remain calm when under pressure and employ tact and diplomacy in difficult/sensitive situations.
  4. Confident with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  5. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) at an advanced level or willing to undertake training at this level.
  6. A team player with a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  7. Reliable, trustworthy and have an understanding of confidentiality issues.

St Mary’s Catholic High School are looking to appoint a highly organised, competent, and enthusiastic Exams and Cover Officer.  He/she will be responsible for the administration, organisation, and management of internal and external examinations, as well as managing the day to day cover of teaching staff/rooming within school.

The successful candidate will be:

  1. Educated to A Level standard together with 5 GCSEs Grade 4 or above including English and Mathematics.
  2. Experienced in working in a busy office environment (school based would be advantageous).
  3. Able to remain calm when under pressure and employ tact and diplomacy in difficult/sensitive situations.
  4. Able to demonstrate proven experience of using their initiative and an investigative nature.
  5. Able to interpret information/data.
  6. Confident with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  7. Skilled in the use of IT software including Microsoft packages.
  8. Reliable, trustworthy and have an understanding of confidentiality issues.
