Financial Reports


Each year St Marys is required to publish four financial reports regarding the funding it receives. The main report is its financial statements, which state the trust’s financial performance during the year and its financial position at the year end, and includes the following elements:

  1. A trustees’ / governors’ report
  2. A governance statement
  3. A statement on regularity, propriety and compliance
  4. A statement of trustees’ responsibilities
  5. An independent auditors’ report on the financial statements
  6. An independent reporting accountants’ assurance report on regularity
  7. The financial statements

In addition to its financial statements the Academy is also required to report on the funding it has received, how it has been spent, and the outcomes received on the following income streams: Pupil premium.
