Mrs Maggie Curley
I have been a Governor for about 6 years.
I have a heartfelt desire for St Mary’s to remain a great place to work and study, and as such I am keen to help look for possible solutions when difficult issues arise. I believe I am able to understand and acknowledge a variety of points of view and recognise that often compromise is needed. My husband and I have taught here for roughly 23 years each. Three of our children are currently pupils and our eldest left here just over a year ago. My commitment to the school is long term and strong.
My life outside school (after the usual role of taxi driver for the kids) mainly involves socialising with friends (anything that involves food and drink is good!) and watching various sons play rugby and hockey.
It is important to me as a school governor that I am part of a group of people who all want to ensure that St Mary’s continues to go from strength to strength and who all try to have the wellbeing of each member of the St Mary’s Community at the heart of every decision that is made.
