Year 8 Geography Fieldwork Visit to Twycross Zoo
As part of our Year 8 Geography course, we are participating in a fieldwork visit to Twycross Zoo. This forms part of our ecosystems topic and will provide students with an opportunity to complete exciting fieldwork activities as well as having free time to explore the zoo. This visit has been planned on the understanding that all parents of students participating are prepared to meet the cost involved per pupil. Please log into your child’s account on ParentPay and make the £19.00 payment to the “Twycross Year 8 fieldtrip”. Please could all payments be made by Monday 21 February.
Please note payment on ParentPay will be taken as informed consent for your son/daughter to attend.
The dates of the visit are as follows:
Monday 7 March Teaching Groups 8F and 8K
Tuesday 8 March Teaching Groups 8J
Wednesday 9 March Teaching Group 8E and 8D
Thursday 10 March Teaching Groups 8G and 8H
The coach will leave school at 9.00 am and will return by 3.30 pm. All students will be required to bring a packed lunch, warm clothes and a waterproof coat. Full school uniform is required. Students may bring a camera, although the school can take no responsibility should any item be lost or damaged. In line with the usual school expectations, students are not permitted to bring mobile telephones. They may bring a small amount of spending money if they would like.
