Dear Parents/Carers

Christmas Hamper and Gifts Appeal

As many of you are aware St Mary’s Catholic High School has a long tradition of supporting disadvantaged families and children during the Christmas period. For many years we have provided both Christmas food hampers and individual gifts, to ensure that all of our community, have the means to enjoy the festive season.

Previously, parents, carers and the wider community donated Christmas food items and we would then make up hampers. We have always been hugely appreciative of the generosity displayed by our families but under last year’s COVID restrictions, food items could not be brought into school and so we asked for donations via Parentpay to enable us to purchase food and vouchers.

This worked very well and so I would therefore be extremely grateful if you would again consider making a donation via ParentPay, in order that we can continue to support our families and children. The facility to make a donation will be available on Parentpay until 17 December 2021.

I fully appreciate that many of you may not be able to make a donation this year, due to the continued negative financial impact of COVID, but I would ask that you continue to keep our school and its children in your prayers.

Best wishes
