We had a long and tiring day today in Valencia, but it was worth it!  We started off at the Oceanografic aquarium.  It is a fantastic setting with loads of amazing fish and other water creatures.  The highlight had to be the dolphin display, which was extraordinary.

We then walked to the Science Museum, which is next door.  The building is very impressive and was a lovely backdrop to a very much needed lunch break.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the interactive displays, including the ones aimed at slightly younger children!

The driver picked us up and took us into the centre of Valencia where we climbed the Micalet tower (207 steps!) and then visited the Cathedral.  There was time for a quick bit of free time in central Valencia, before heading back to Castellón, tired and a bit footsore.

Day in school tomorrow so we’ll be quizzing them on Spanish geography, physics and maths!
