Pupils at St Mary’s Catholic High School have achieved excellent results in this year’s GCSE examinations. The school’s Attainment 8 score is 56.1 with 80% of pupils achieving English and Maths at grade 4 and above. 62% of pupils also achieved 9-5 passes including English and Maths

We are also thrilled that 34 % of pupils achieved A and A* or 9-7 on the new grading structure, with 121 results at a 9. Pupils following vocational pathways also achieved wonderful results.

The results are a testament to the incredible hard work of our pupils, the support of parents and carers and the dedication of the school’s outstanding staff. Our aim is that every pupil fulfils his or her potential and has the qualifications to move on to the next stage of their education or career. We are extremely proud of all of our young people.

Congratulations and best wishes to you all.
