St Mary’s Catholic High School / 14 Mar
Last Wednesday, St. Mary's welcomed students and Maths teachers from across the region to tackle the AMSP Year 10 Maths Feast, a competition focussed on problem solving in Mathematics. Students did some Fermi Estimation, tackled a challenging cross-number and had a go at constructing a rhombic dodecahedron using paper folding!
One of our teams won 2 separate rounds, as well as the overall competition; a huge well done to Jacob, Louis, Ben and Dan! We also had teams finishing 3rd, 4th and 5th in the overall competition.
